Dane County is inviting proposals for professional architectural and engineering design services to develop Construction Documents for the deconstruction of the old Northport nurses dormitory building. The building is a multi-story masonry structure (constructed in 1934) and is located on a hillside. A small portion of the original building, which was a covered veranda, will need to be structurally stabilized to remain as a historical pavilion (a conceptual design for this area will be included in the Bid Package). The remainder of the building is to be demolished and removed from the site and the site regarded to provide barrier-free access to the pavilion.
